OVER MY LAND.
A charming, music-driven spot that takes us through Portugal’s bucolic countryside, drawing inspiration from folk songs of the area. Created in the fields during the harvest season, these folk songs are part of the cultural heritage of Portugal, and speak to a larger part of human experience. Compal employees, from farmers to truck drivers, are the singers and actors in this campaign. Since agricultural work songs are mainly rhythmic and sung acappella, the challenge was finding real people who could actually sing traditional harvest songs on camera.
